Do I really want to blog about building a new house? Not sure anyone will care, but thought it would be nice to document this project. After many years of thinking about it, Steve and I bought a nice piece of property in Murrysville in Sept 2008--just in time for the economy to tank and the credit markets to freeze. But, the plan was to do wait a few years before building anyway, so hopefully the housing market will be in a better place by the time we need to sell.
In the meantime, we tore down the house that was on the property and are growing a hunger garden this summer with the hope of being able to donate lots of fresh vegetables to the local food bank. More to follow...
